What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

My adventure over the last few days was fitting an 06 Tundra exhaust to my 09 Taco
All this started because I got the URD y-pipe and not having the cats made the exhaust way to loud over 2.5k with the minimal muffler I had before. This was sitting in my barn, so I figured why not?
Fit like a charm! Relocated a couple hangers on the pipes, the used my old muffler as a 2.25" to 2.5" adapter to the tundra exhaust, and viola! Nice shiny dual chrome tips for me to smash on rocks... And of course now I need a new place to mount my spare...

 

Got these on then went to Colorado

 

What brand are those I like um, bolt on?

 

Hefty Fabworks, they are bolt on.

I’m not sure if Amazon does it on purpose or if someone screws up on the pricing, but they seem to have really low prices at times.

My suggestion is to enjoy the fuck out of it and dont worry if others question the authenticity of it. Badass bumper and badass price!

 

Put on new shoes today. No pictures because you know what tires look like. After MUCH research and looking I went with Michelin Defenders instead of Michelin AT2. I've had 3 sets of AT2s and they are great tires but I just don't go in mud much. The Defenders are better in ice and snow but I had to give a little on the looks.

What will really piss many of you off is that I have the white lettering on the outside. I really like that on black, white, and red trucks. Other colors not as much.

Ordered this grill. I wasn't going to do it, but my teenage son saw me looking at them. He got excited, because he's been wanting to learn how to work on things, both body work and mechanical. So, I pulled the trigger because I thought this would be a good, easy introduction project for him. We'll paint it this weekend, and install it next weekend, along with teaching him how to change oil, cabin filters, etc.

So begins my first official "mod."

 

Being a frequent flyer of Amazon, this is common place. I offen put items I’m interested in my cart. HAHAHA Hell no not in one day!!! The front suspension took a whole weekend.....
