Billy's 5100's set @ 1 3/4, 1" rear blocks, Rear TSB, trimmed frt mud flaps 4", TRD Exhuast, K&N filter. Electric Brake.
    I just drove mine from Virginia to Florida and got 18.3mpg. I was hoping for better. I have a K&N air filter, TRD exhuast, Tornado Fuel Saver, a tonueau cover, and am running 275/70/16's. Also had just changed the plugs/Oil, used
    $25 BG 44k Fuel System Cleaner Power Enhancer 11oz.
    BG 44k and had 36lbs of air in the tires. I figure my odometer is a little off with the bogger tires, but how much??

    Couple of weeks ago I drove from Bristol, TN to home in Northern Virginia and got 18.3 MPG....

    Its the tornado fuel saver.. 18 is good though even with the booger tires.


    Sure those are Swamp boogers? look like ats to me.

    Lose the tornado and the KN and get a AFE drop in...for max mpg possible.

    ya... thats the mpg you are gonna get doing 80mph.

    slow down to 60 mph and you will get 20+ mpg

    thats fine with what tires you have. even though I still get 20mpg with 255/85/16.

    Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
    Speed is definitely the reason. Slow down to 70, or even more and it will go up. With trucks like these the aerodynamics start playing a large role at those speeds.

    I got 12.7 mpg going to the beach this past summer. . . doing about 70-90mph highway. Also had 4 other people in the truck with me, and a bed full of luggage. Was sad when I had to fill up 2xx miles down the road :(

    Now that I think about it, 18.3 is damn good considering EPA estimates 20mpg hwy and you have bigger tires, a lift, and were going fast.
