When I got my truck a few weeks ago, the woman in finance pushed the Karr alarm so damn hard it made me so frustrated. I almost left, but I spent so much time looking for the truck I wanted so just let her go on her huge speech. The look on her face when I turned down every single option she tried to sell me was priceless. She started getting a little frantic and started getting out binders and kept giving me lower prices, but I’m no dummy. The Karr alarm sounded so ridiculous. I was wondering what this same thing was in my truck so I’m glad I saw this thread. I wish it could be removed without hacking up wires!

I wouldnt be surprised. They make one of worst cars in the world. I rode in them i know.

They just trying to make a better car, let them listen. Maybe one day they will get it.

Honestly russians dont make anything good except for weapons and rockets. Go figure.

Sorry i forgot to mention the sherp, ultimate off road machine.

It is an aftermarket alarm butchered into the wiring harness and screwed to the dashboard of your brand new truck.

The dealership I got my truck from said they install them on every vehicle they sell, new or used, except vehicles that are special order and the customer requests it not be installed.

I ripped mine out, had to splice the starter wire back together and I now have two holes on the bottom of my dash. Dealership wanted $900 to "activate" it (basically give me remotes) and was long on the shame game when I refused. Yeah, no.

Girls can have truck too! ;)
Thanks for all the real answers definitely think it was a dealer addition. I’ll be looking into it further when I upgrade the sounds system!
