    Lift block of any kind on leaf springs causes more twist force on the springs. It is a cheap option but a true leaf springs with added arc is better.

    Yes to the taper. Even when I had originally put 1" blocks after first purchasing the truck, I had vibrations. Had to switch to a tapered 1" block and vibes went away. 1.5" tapered block will ride much nicer than a 1.5" AAL. Do it!

    Keep the blocks on the rear to 1.5”. Not good for drag racing but for around town they are fine. Just don’t tell anyone on TW you’re running blocks.
