Searches didnt turn up a thread on this. Has anyone figured out how to silence the spare tire chain rattle??
I think I have a few other rattles going on too. If anyone knows of common issues, please point me to the solutions.

I just took some zip ties and zipped it to somewhere (no longer have the spare there but still applies)

Wrap a towel around it and zip tie it to the wheel so it doesn't rattle? I've never noticed mine to be honest..

Put a lock on it, serves two functions.

Arts and crafts pipe cleaners work great. When you crank your spare down with pipe cleaners, it undoes itself as the tire comes down as opposed to zip ties.
