My 2019 Sport Tacoma is nearing 10,000 miles so the speedometer display in the center of the instrument cluster changed into an ad for my Taco dealer (it now says "Maintenance Required"). I'd like to press the magic set of button presses to cancel that... Who can tell me what to do. (I know I can press the button with the back arrow to clear that message and return to the speed display but I'd like to turn it off)

    Thanks!

I think it's in the head unit. Vehicle settings or something.

Use the steering wheel controls and go to settings in the guage cluster.

Use the trip meter. There is a sequence to follow in the Owners Manual.

Why would anyone take their precious Tacoma to the dealer for an oil change? Don't you know they are all hacks that will scratch ad fuck up your truck? HaHaHa

Hold down on the trip meter button in your instrument cluster and while holding it down, press the start button twice with your foot off the brake pedal. Continue to hold down and you will see little dots start to disappear. When all the dots are gone, I think it flashes all zeros and you’re done. If you have a key, I assume the process is the same but instead of pushing the start button you turn the key but don’t start the engine.
