    Hello everyone.

Just purchased a 2019 TRD Pro and had them include a 1.5” lift to the purchase.

Wasn’t too happy with the oem tires so negotiated some A/T tires into the price. Hoping I can get some advice on which tires to go with. They’ve suggested BFG 265/70R/16. Keeping the stocker wheels for now. Just wondering if anyone out there happens to have a pic of their rig at 1.5” or so lift and that spec tire.

I was able to see a 285 tire with similar lift in person but wondering how much of a difference (image wise) a 265 tire will look to that of a 285. Hate for there to be a huge, awkward, overdone gap.

Coming from a sports car world, happy to have a well equipped truck. Thanks in advance

BFGs are a great tire but a very high to keep maintained. In other words very hard to keep balanced. They will heat cycle and go out of balance and you will always keep chasing the problem. Some people don't have issues. Try a Toyo Open Country AT2 or a Nitto. They are owned by Nitto and the Toyos have a 65K mile warranty. They are a super quiet, light tire and they don't take a lot of weight. Try a 265/75/16 and I think it will look great, I'm lifted a little higher front and rear than a Pro and I run 265/70/17s and it looks great. Plus you don't have to worry about the speedo being off, the GPS on your phone should be pretty close when checking it against your speed.
