    Honestly Honda had kinda lost its way and become really boring until they discovered how fun the spinnywhooshers can be.
    I'm still amazed at how good they managed to make a 1.5L sound... like, here I am thinking "clapped out 91 Hatch bouncing through an intersection on its bumpstops sounding like a cloud of bees in a megaphone"... but it doesn't have that sound to it at all.
    Still kinda on the fence about going aftermarket though.

    I drove last week with the rear seats folded down. While on the freeway the exhaust had much more of a drone and sounded way louder.
    I couldn't live with any louder exhaust.

    30 years of research and development to get to that point over the tech in my Z. I'll take the nostalgia. No payment, super cheap insurance and 23 dollars a year for license tabs. At least once I can actually drive the thing. I've owned a turbo 4 cylinder with front wheel drive. Seemed like such a waste to spin one wheel while the other hops and I had to fight the torque steer that was so bad from the 350 foot pounds of torque. If I ever switched to something like that it would have to be AWD.

    And mine is going to have android auto with a backup camera, a sub, a great set of components and two amps.

    My Honda is pushing power levels stock that would lead my GTI to not-so gently suggest a right turn when on the power. They used some kind of oriental space magic to banish it. :rofl:

    It hooks up solid with no wheel hop out of 2nd too. And this is just the "baby" Si, I've heard that the R makes out even better. The chassis dynamics vs classics from 30 years ago are night and day, and FF isn't the curse it once was.

    That said I still do lust after the Japanese classics, the doorstop Supra, the R33 because I am a broken man, the RX-7 FD, all things I would love to have in my garage and give them the same treatment you have given the Z.:burnrubber:
