Has anyone installed one of these yet, just saw it on their site, 198 RWHP/207 RWTQ. 76 hp and 82 tq, couldn't find the dyno charts. I'm studying on pulling a travel trailer around some in the near future, not sure if I'd need one or not, it will need to be something lite and slick through the air. O'well let the :crapstorm:begin! :turtleride:

I don’t have a 3rd Gen 4 cylinder, but I’d imagine the URD supercharger would be pretty awesome in your access cab. If you’re going to keep your truck long term I don’t think it’s a bad idea. Lots of folks will tell you to get a 6 cylinder if you’re going to tow, but the little 2tr-fe will do a lot.

I'm on the fence about one. They're pretty neat inside Only thing holding me back is the longevity. Hard to find any examples of a rotrex unit lasting more than 40k considering the unit is not rebuildable.

Rotrex says, you need to check with the distributor you bought the supercharge from, for warranty coverage. Which would be URD, if you by this kit, there are no gears or metal to metal contact, so it should last a while. Anything can brake though, it is a neat design and I rather like it. Still on the fence about getting one, it's interesting, URD only has 3 reviews as of now, but the reviewers seem to like it a lot.

The way its designed all the smooth surfaces need to be shoulder to shoulder. From the video I posted you can see how tight the tolerances are. Doesn't take much wear for the tolerances to go out of wack and its dead. I would prefer if the rotrex designed the unit with gears, much like the procharger.
