I don't know if this helps you at all, but we were the originals. First with the prototype, first with the production, etc.. I think we counted on the 4Runner platform alone 13+ companies who imitated our Slimline production then even followed with the "stage 2s" like we produce. Shooooot, we even have receipts of certain companies employees we caught buying our 4Runner bumper then miraculously coming out with there own a few months later. But hey, whose counting. :deadhorse::crapstorm:

I'd be pissed. How is it not covered by some sort of rights ? In all seriousness though I'd order it and wouldnt even be able to think about putting it on until February

Not really unless we would have copyrighted the design, but even that's a joke. If we were to copyright a product and a competitor was to change 10% or so it's still 100% legal to copy the design. Which leads to the political side of it, where we would have to file motions, etc, etc. It's just easier to try our hardest to make the best products we can and work on our parts of our business that can use the boost.

What springs are you running up front? Waiting on my stage 2’s, currently looking at king setup.

First with the concept or first with the 3rd gen bumpers? I’m pretty sure US Offroad was the first to make this style bumper on 2nd gens and FJ cruisers. I own your bumper so not bashing or anything, also had a US Offroad on my 2nd gen. I just think yours is the best looking for 3rd gens.

Let me clarify, for the 3rd Gen Taco/4Runner. It's like the old rule, someone's always done it before you. And it's usually the Simpsons.

I wish more companies understood this. I had an SSO Slimline on my 2014 T4R and have one on order for my 2019 Tacoma. It's a great bumper.

This bumper with a winch wouldn’t be heavy enough for 700s. If you're doing a 2nd battery, steel skids a heavier winch, then I could see 700s.

I like the ride with 650s. When I mounted the bumper, winch and light bar I did have to dial up the coil over till an inch of trends was showing. No regrets running 650s.

The winch SSO recommends is the warn 10s, does anyone have experience with any other winches working well?

Anything under $1600 would be cool.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
I was planning to get the Smittybuilt X20 98510, also looks to be on the SSO list. $599 synthetic line.
