Any rack that isn’t kbvoodoo. Unless you like cheap products and rust.

NEVER BUY KBVOODOO. I bought their rack. Paint flaked off and rusted in less than 2 months. They failed to fix the issue. There’s a reason they’re not a vendor on here anymore.

You should look into why KBDoodoo isn't a vendor here anymore.

I see you are in Canada. Im guessing they use lots of salt in the winter up there? Be hard pressed to find anything that wont rust in a salt belt winter..

I would say find a used KB VooDoo, put a days worth of prep work into it and rattle can it when it starts to rust, and call it good. Enjoy the $$$ you saved buying used vs new.

As far as the itself rack goes, I have no complaints. Only thing I might say it consider what height you want. Tall (18") is nice because you can still just barely crawl around in the bed to get/ move stuff. Downside is you do get lots of drag / slight MPG hit due to having it way up high.

Any other recommendations? Voodoo seemed like the best option with tonneau cover.

KB Voodoo did their customers dirty. I had the bed bars rust badly after a single CALIFORNIA SUMMER. Ended up selling them in the marketplace for a deep discount. I took their stupid sticker off my cooler.

The Voodoo racks aren't a bad design. Just really isn't worth the risk IMO anymore.

Obviously you have other criteria with a cover. But I owned a voodoo. It failed. Got screwed. Repainted it, which was a massive pain in the ass. And it was fine after that.

I now own a BAMF rack. Much happier.

Wow so many negative Kb Voodoo reviews and I just received mine on Wed...havent had time to even open the box yet...Ill make sure to post up initial thoughts.

From the limited research I did on here people said they took care of the rusting issue, and if you go with aluminium you dont have to worry about the rusting...but its pricier....that being said i went with the steel...

RTT will be on it for sure. Don’t think much else.

    Still too much?

My KBVodoo rack last 2 months. Immediately rusted day 1, start squeaking like hell first week in, eventually the bars started to bend in the middle. I wheel but by no means do i beat my shit. I would avoid it like the plague. I have heard good things about mobtown bars. Ive now got bed bars from relentless which im much happier with.

If I can answer any questions about Victory 4x4 racks let me know.

Here is our powdercoat process (pulled from the website FAQ)

What is your powder coat process?

Our powder coat process starts with surface prep in fabrication where most surfaces are roughed up using mechanical sanders. The parts are then treated with a phosphate wash before an initial bake to remove all remaining surface contamination. The first step in the powder process is a zinc rich primer. This is designed to promote excellent adhesion to the base metal as well as to act as a sacrificial anode to inhibit corrosion. After the primer coat is baked on, we lay down a top coat of a durable sandtex black powder, then do a final bake of the parts. The coating materials and methods we choose for our products are designed to exceed a 6,000-hour salt spray under ASTM D 117-94 test methods.

Glad ive got the roof rack and bed rack! Ive had the roof rack for about 4 months now and love it with zero issues. The bed rack is great too. Minor rust in some of the welding corners but nothing major. Very solid modular piece of equipment! Very happy with my purchases from you guys! Just need that front bumper for a second gen! It looks very sharp! If i had the funds i would buy it. It is my fav design on the market. I have recommend you guys to almost everyone i know because of the quality products you put out and great customer service. I even got a call to make sure i had received my order the day it was delivered. Next level!
