2012 grey 4 cylinder prerunner sr5 dc sb

I've been having issues with my stereo as of the past few weeks. I have a 2nd gen sr5 and the issue is with the bluetooth setting. When I press the aux button on to switch to bluetooth it will only switch for a few seconds before returning to radio. I've got very limited knowledge and with that my only guess is that I've got a wiring issue? anyone got suggestions on a fix for this? My phone used to connect immediately when I fired up the truck but now I have to connect manually without it even working. As much as I hope this isn't a dumb question I hope its an easy fix. Thanks guys!
