It's a CB radio. Decent little guy. A lot of people are moving to HAM- which operates on different frequencies and overall offers clearer signal and longer distances for comms.

    Pros:

CB is cheap to get into (radio, antenna, wiring and so on)
CB is common with jeep, RV and semi-truckers.
HAM is clearer and has longer range

    Cons:
HAM requires a license to transmit "legally" (easy test and $25 fee)
CB tends to be an outgoing format
CB requires tuning to get the best performance.

I like the memory channel features, and the ability to scan all the channels looking for traffic.
