On Board Air to blow up inflatable Kayak

any recommendations? Definitely not using the foot pump. Used my home compressor and did it in 5 mins. Gonna be in the woods so that’s not an option

 

On-board or just portable?

 

On board would be nice, I had one in my old truck with a 2 gallon tank good for blowing sand out the back from the beach and inflating tires etc but it would take up room in this truck beds much smaller than my own truck, I’ve seen some small ones installed under the hood (no tank)

 

NRS has great pumps. I can blow up my 5 man NRS raft in minutes (and kayaks in seconds) with their high volume pumps.
Usually you get either:
-Massive volume and low (sub 5psi) pressure. aka raft pump
-High pressure (100psi) and low volume. aka tire inflation

I've found the large volume dual direction hand pumps move a lot more air than electric or foot pumps for something like a kayak or mattress.

 

Filled a few mattresses (and a large inflatable swan) with my ARB single. Intex makes a DC model of their mattress pump and that would prob do better though.

ARB is nice:

 

I’m leaning towards that ARB single, nice and small and can mount in the engine or was looking at installed my it in the bed cubby

 

This is what I use. Small and inexpensive and works well.

 

My buddy has this for his Land Cruiser, kind of expensive but works awesome.
