Looked at a few posts about "Spark Plugs" today. Going with the Denso's but underhood sticker on my 2003 says to use the twin ground electrode plugs ONLY.... Why doesn't the Denso Iridiums have the twin ground electrodes? Says Iridiums are better than Platinum but since the spark plug post first started on TacomaWorld is the sticker advice irrelevant when it comes to the twin ground electrode? Gonna order on line at advanced Auto Parts to get discount but not sure what is best to buy for my 2003 V6 4x4 Taco... Help!

One of the main reasons for iridium and platinum was extension of service intervals and better firing at higher mileage. Doesn't mean they are universally better.

Your truck has a waste spark system that fires the coils constantly on compression and exhaust, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasted_spark so Toyota deemed that they have dual ground to match the system.

I've run iridium just fine in the 3.4 (in my dads 4runner back in the day) but I would prefer the denso dual ground if I had a choice today.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I'd just stick with OEM Denso or NGK twin electrode, they can last a long long time, well beyond their money's worth. No need to get fancy!
