A few years back I owned a 2nd gen. One of the lights had been cracked by thrown gravel so I got fancy and put in some aftermarket headlights. Reputable ones, not some cheap Ebay knock-off. None-the-less, a few months down the road, electrics start going crazy and the lights ended up frying my ECM module. (Took 3 service centers and way too much money just to figure out that is what was going on.)

I have a 3rd gen now, and I have been doing work toward a black-out. Obviously, I am nervous about actually replacing the headlights again. So I was looking at alternatives that would not involve messing with any wiring, and I came across these. Anybody familiar with them or have any other non-electrical suggestions.

Those are cheap eBay knock offs.
Do a BHLM. NOT A smoked front lens(like your link) light output will be worse than stock.
