Recommend me a bed box

Hi guys,

I have the 6ft bed, and I want to mount a decent-size secure trunk behind the cab. It has to bolt into the bed somehow and have a lock. I want it to be configurable inside, maybe with removable partitions or trays, so I could put a cooler or some other larger items in there if needed.

I’ve looked around for a while, I only found a bunch of diamond-plate tool chests, not what I’m looking for.


Any ideas?

 

Jobox is rather popular around here. It’ll hold what you need it to, and there rather impenetrable.

We use Jobox on the trucks at work. If you bolt it into the bed, it’s not going anywhere. Although the size they make that would fit in the Tacoma bed is not huge and would not accommodate a very big cooler.

I have a UWS cross bed toolbox in my truck and it does the job just fine.

Thanks. Hadn’t considered using a normal trunk and just screwing it down to the bed. Was thinking more of a purpose-built truck bed trunk. Got some ideas now.
