Thankfully... I eat salads everyday along with yogurt. I only eat Whole Foods for the most part so I think that’s one part of my diet that I have on point lol.

I know for runs longer than 15 miles I was a fan of ice baths.

I really have not been plagued by tendon/ligament issues. Only once and that was a hammy tendon tear.

I love compression for recovery. Especially calf sleeves and socks.

My wife is out with her cousin's tonight. I have the house to myself.... so of course I got board of football and started reading about cancer metabolism. I cant help myself. Anyway, I thought all of you might enjoy this article. It discusses how exercise is related to cancer prevention.

Day off, need to catch up on work.

Edit: day off from lifting. I never actually take a day off form exercising. Cycling and running today.

Just waking up. Not sure what the agenda is for the day. Might drive to the mall and get a book on the human body to learn about certain muscle groups and how to target them or something along those lines. Might just sit on the couch all day. Might goto the gym.

Leg day today. Primarily quad focus 80% with 20% hammie. Wednesday I flip 80% hammie, etc. Quads been a been focus point for me esp after my injured IT band... So I incorporate them day after my cheat meal to utilize the extra nutrients. Pumps are typically unbearable lol.

Had date night with the girl last night. Oh man. Filled with regret of choice. I did start off good with a seared ahi salad at Karl Strauss (also a liter of beer cuz oktoberfest). Then we got Krispy Kreme after Dave & Busters. And then cuz I had a salad I was still hungry so we stopped at Del Taco for a chicken quesadilla and some fries :bananadead:

Pic of said liter of beer.

Yes, most of the time when I go to the gym I feel tired, poorly rested, and over worked. My first couple sets are always shitty and embarrassing. I get some pre-workout in my system and I remind myself why I'm doing it. This is the reality for those of us who work 6-7 days a weeks for 10-14 hours a day. Hell, even if you work 40 hours a week, you still wont workout if you wait until you feel ready. I'm cycling right now. I never take a day off from exercising - no matter what. Get something done today. Doesn't matter if its heavy or light, not your best work - just get something done.

Remember all the diet ranting I did last week? Well, it also applies to exercise. Small consistent changes are the key to progress.
