So I was at long Beach, WA yesterday enjoying the day and came along a 1990ish 2wd suburban stuck pretty good w a jl jeep trying to pull them out with a tow strap and having no luck. So I finally got a chance to use my new arb 17.5k snatch strap. After a few good tugs I got him out and on his way. For how big and heavy that suburban was I think the truck did pretty well! Only regret was I didn't record it! I aired down to 25,nothing aggressive, and my wildpeaks did amazing on the sand..IMG_20190921_155920_362.jpg

That's where snatch straps shine over regular recovery straps (I really hope they weren't using a tow strap with a metal hook on the end). The kinetic energy of a snatch strap makes all the difference in pulling someone out of mud/sand etc.

Of course they were! A nice jeep guy stopped to lend some verbal support, told me not to tug, I had to explain it was a snatch and that is what it is designed for

Man, Jeeps....metal hook straps in recovery are a severe injury or fatality waiting to happen. They were lucky you showed up with a proper recovery tool.
