13’ Tacoma/ OME885s / bilstien 5100s. I’ve noticed since I purchased this truck a few months ago that I have a prominent suspension “chirp” not a creak or squeak, but a high pitch chirp if you will. I can’t tell wether it is coming from the front or rear of the truck. I have already replaced the front radiator supports with the energy suspension poly bushing and that did not solve my problem. Also adjusted my hood which helped a different squeak I was getting off road. Now my problem is daily driving and every small bump in the road makes my suspension chirp. Any ideas on what this may be. I can’t seem to find a forum on this issue other than rad. Support mounts(done)

Could be your top hats. If the shock shaft was rubbing there before the 5100 were added then there is wiggle room for metal to metal play.

@cdex8357 i got under the truck and shook my spare and didn’t get any movement out of it? Was yours moving or sturdy ? I live in the south so rust isn’t huge here

@Tocamo i call it chirping because it’s high pitched and short. Other may call it a squeak, but it doesn’t sound like an old mattress. I know OMEs are know for clunking

Try to tighten the spare. Had a chirp that drove me nuts and one day I was under the truck, accidentally knocked the spare, and holy hell I heard the chirp. Grabbed the jack tool and tightened the bitch up and chirps be gone! It didn't seem loose and only turned maybe a quarter turn but it did the trick.

UPDATE( FIXED) : Crawled under the truck and looked for rubbing/ loose bolts and it turns out the source of the squeak”chirp” was my skid plate being a little loose. So glad it was a free fix
