I have taken my Tacoma all over Baja (see my trip reports). This time, I was a passenger and it was nice to let someone else drive... fun with Curt LeDuc, in fact. This was a made for TV event and all Ford Raptors... I was a ride-along guide.

Looks like you got to have a good time David! Awesome.
I gotta try and get me some of that fun I keep hearing about! Since I've moved I've been working like crazy, either on the property, or working on trucks. But Im making progress albeit slowly since I can only do so many things at once, lol.
However I've been getting my desert stuff ready, just have to install airbags on the new RV (well new to me, its a 99, but better than my last one an 85', that Fker was beat!)
Now I just gotta fix my Jeep and replace the rear gears and its set for another season of abuse. Also get some armor and other goodies for my dirtbike, as well as a new helmet (I damaged the last one in a big crash!!) and I should be ready to rock.

Soooo ready for some desert weekends!!

Be careful amigo... you aren't getting any younger, and those injuries take longer to heal the older you get!

Anyone have a detail guy in north county? Mobile or not. Need the Tundra ceramic coated and 4Runner needs a wet sand and full buff

He is not cheap but saved the paint on my X-runner. It was so bad I thought I was going to have to get it resprayed. He did a full correction and ceramic coat.
Normally does exotics but does good work no matter what vehicle it is.

Reminds me, I have to have him look at my new truck.

Bit the bullet and got fox 2.0 f&r shocks. And probably going to go with wheelers aal. Question though. for the taco lean should i adjust preload or get a spacer? Also are bump stops necessary or is it something i can hold off on.

You still need bump stops. Stock bumps will work, but Going aftermarket like wheelers or durobumps is a nice upgrade.
I would recommend doing a u-bolt flip if your already working on the rear leafs.

The proper way to compensate for taco lean is to adjust the coil. A spacer will work but I wouldn't off road hard with one unless you limit your bump travel in the front.

Bump stops for the front or rear?

Cool i wasnt sure if adjusting the coil differently on each side would put the suspension "bounciness" out of whack
    Both bump stops i guess

    What up!
Cool i was planning to eventually will upgrade the bumpstops but wasnt sure if it was necessary right away. But if im down there adjusting the leafs it makes sense to do it all in one shot.

Q: When does it suck to be a cop?

A: When you get pulled over in your cruiser by another cop. LOL

I seriously doubt that's what happened, but it's fun to think it did. ( Escondido)

Lol. They probably still haven't cleared the scene from pulling someone else over. You can see the front cops rear emergency light on the left side of his bar. But who knows. Sometimes im hauling ass in my g ride afraid I'll get pulled over and im always on the lookout for state troopers lol
