Can anyone post pictures of their ride with aftermarket rims on a stock suspension? 17x9 seems like a popular size.....can this be done without a lift? What size tire did you use? Offset? Any rubbing?

My son put 18" Fuel wheels with some 33's.....but has a 3" lift. I really don't want to go that route, but I like the look of his wheels.

    Thanks in advance.

What tire size are you planning on running or staying stock?

Whatever fits. I would like to run an aggressive looking tire (like the Wildpeaks), but the size didn't matter to me.

This would not be for off-roading at all. Just aesthetics.

If you staying stock suspension. 17x8 0 offset. You could go 275/65/17 which is basically a 31x10.50 will give a smidge Of poke and should have no rubbing issues.

I don't mind a little poke....even want a little bit. How much lift does your truck have?

A 17x8 0 offset will look just about the same as the photo.

265/70 with 16x8 FJ wheels and stock suspension. Poked the tires out about an inch with no rubbing. Should be able to run 265/75 whenever I get new rubber.

Edit: not technically aftermarket but hopefully it helps.

    I'm running 17x8 / 0 offset wheels with 265/70R17 Wildpeaks which are a 32" tire.

This picture is with stock suspension and all I had to do was slightly trim the mudflaps, but now I have a 1.5" lift.

    Wheels: Pro Comp 7005 17x8 / 0mm offset
Tires: Falken Wildpeaks 265/70R17 C Rated (Lighter than an E Rated tire so better MPG but with an aggressive tread)

I purchased them from Discount Tire and they are really great to deal with. They price matched and beat the price for the wheels from 4WD (30% off). Plus they also price matched the Falken Wildpeaks at the same time from Tire Buyer (15% off).
