Same here. Just received mine and hoping they’ll make a difference combined with the rear ones. This truck has the weirdest seat position of any vehicle I’ve ever had. My knee can’t take anymore.

On another note and more to the point, these things look so well machined and finished that I can’t even state it enough. Th quality is amazing. Than you @EasyDoesIt - Great work!

If you order a set and see the quality and precision in the part you might change your mind. I can’t stress enough how well made these are. This isn’t some cheap mass produced Chinese crap.

I’m super impressed, but then again I’m a big fan of precision tooling/manufacturing. I realize not everyone is aware what it takes to produce truly finely built parts such as this. . .

So I just got em installed and figured I’d report on them. It’s amazing how something so seemingly small and trivial can make such a huge impact. It is way more comfortable with the back and front raised. With just the rear risers, the back of my upper legs near the knees had no support. Immediately felt th difference after installing the front risers.

I’m not kidding, I was actually contemplating a bunch of different options up to and including trading the truck in because of the shitty front seat position. Maybe I got lucky and it hit the sweet spot for me but the seat feels natural again. Combination of front and rear risers coupled with the Clazzio covers worked out very well for me.

I still have an issue with the lateral offset position of the seat as it relates to the pedals but that is a function of the trucks geometry and has nothing to do with the risers.

I would highly recommend this mod to anyone. A lot cheaper than power seats or a new truck. Five stars. . .

I definitely agree that this has been one of my favorite mods, and probably the only mod I "needed." I couldn't drive for more then 30-45 mins without getting pains in the back of my right leg. Thought about getting rid of the Tacoma until I found these, though, "what the hell, if it saves me from having to get a new vehicle!"

I purchased and installed these in July. I finished a 10 day trip in August from San Diego to Los Padres NF, then up to Sequoia NF, back to San Diego. Each day at both locations was about 4-6 hours driving forest roads. All said and done, I drove a little under 1500 miles in 10 days. No issues with pains in my right leg, or anywhere else. You say seems pretty high, I'd pay a lot more for this little mod.

    Thanks @EasyDoesIt

Received mine on yesterday (very fast shipping) and installed them today. It took less than 10 minutes. Quality and craftsmanship is great! I have the spacers in the back also and after I installed these in the front I felt instant lumbar support. I’ll be driving all day tomorrow and can’t wait to see what a difference they make.

    Thank you Steve!

    Do you have a sunroof?

I got mine installed last night in 5mins, and I can say that I'm definately sitting up higher than normal. I'm 6'1" and I always had about an inch of headroom (sunroof) before, and now my head is barely touching the headliner...also had to raise my steering wheel to the highest position.

I'll give it a few more days to see how I like it, but initial impressions are that the seating position is more comfy (feels more like a sports car seat), but I'm not sure I can deal with sitting up so high.

This is great man. So happy that these things are helping keep people in Tacomas.

    Hey Matt,
The closer your seat is to the steering wheel the closer your head will be to the roof but those sunroofs really do impact headroom (which is the case for almost every truck with a sunroof). Have you tried moving your seat back a little further that where it previously was? The further you scoot your seat back, the more headroom you will have. These seat jackers really change the dynamics of the seating position.

Good luck and let me know if I can help out any other way.

I'm pretty far back right now, but I'll play around with it. My morning commute I tend to sit more straight, and in the afternoons more relaxed...like I said, I'll give it a week or two to see if I can adjust, but it was a pretty significant change for the better, I was shocked.

I do not have a sunroof. Have heard this reduces headroom. I do agree that you sit slightly higher up overall with the spacers.
