I’d say depending on the tire/wheel combo this is totally believable, the stock OR tire is 31 1/2ish so a 33 is not a stretch.

    Average before cool 20mpg
    Average after cool 17mpg

southern Cali freeways are like city driving though. Always stop and go.

I should note that 17mpg is driving 10 very conservatively and slow take off around town.If I drive “normal” not lead foot just like flow of traffic it’s 15.5MPG‍♂️
I don’t like the saying around here but it’s true. Pay to play

    About 16 mpg per tank.

    Big difference going 65pmh (18) 75mph (15).

By my estimate, it's reading 1 mpg low.

Got 18/20/21 on 32s and getting 15/17/18 on 33s. This truck eats fuel in any configuration other than stock. My JK on E rated 35s fully armored, bumpers, gearing, 600+ lbs extra weight, got the same fuel mileage as the taco. These trucks hate added weight. Don’t tow you’ll see single digits.

In the same boat as everyone else here. My taco is on 33s with 4 inch lift front and back. If I drive, on a dry day, like every driver here in Dallas when its raining, 18-19 mpg. 15-17 mpg if I'm in a hurry or just driving like I normally do.

That’s exactly how much I get now. I got a 6.5” spindle lift with 285s filled up to 38 PSI for daily travel and I get around 15 mpgs. Before the lift was averaging 21-23 mpgs. My driving habits have no changed, I still stay under 3000 rpms if i can unless I’m doing highway driving, then it has to get close to 4000 just to get up to speed haha

it sucks but that’s the nature of the beast i guess!

    :benchpress:

    Bigger the gains
    Bigger the pain.

    I lost about 8MPG.
