I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I can't beleve they didn't just lock up or just fall apart driving down the road.

Actually they combined the ABS sound ring with a super friction rotor lol ..... or he rode the brakes and throttle mistaking it for a toyota with the theoretical "stuck accelerator".
I've never seen that before , not that I have seen more than 4 rotor replacements though.

When I used to work as a mechanic I would see this kind of thing occasionally. Not to start the big debate back up, but this is the reason I support state inspections. I don't like the idea of being on the road with people this clueless about how to know when something is not right.

Cool! Reminds me of being a kid with the coke can on the back tire of my bike to make noises. I want those rotors so my truck can make cool noises too! :p

Holy crap! How did he not notice? Must have felt like driving down a washboard road every time he braked.

Also, one of the best things about Toyota's alloy wheels is easy visual inspection of brakes with no disassembly.

Just turn those rotors. No sense in wasting the money on brand new ones when these will go another 200k.
