Ken Burns is a terrific documentary writer/producer when it comes to Americana. The National Parks was amazing but Country Music might be even better.

 

The Vietnam war documentary is also phenomenal.

 

If you think thats bad imagine what it would look like if the valley got 0.50" of snow this winter...

Saw snow at Snowbowl on news yesterday !

 

Haaaaaa yeah I remember that, some genius thought that doing a 15 minute long burnout bouncing off the rev limiter was the way to get up a snowy hill. They were surprised when the motor windowed itself and promptly brewed up the rest of the car.

 

My buddy lives in Raleigh and even he was impressed by how incompetent NC drivers were that day.
