Drove to Fairfield Ohio...about 20 miles north of Cincinnati on Sunday the 15th, and came back home last Sunday.

I left both times around 11 AM, and would stay in the fast lane and go with the flow. When traffic thinned out I set the cruise on 78 and chilled.

Stopped 2 times for gas when it got near a 1/4 tank, and had over a 1/4 tank when I arrived. I was averaging between 18.5 to 19.5 MPG. I was expecting a lot worst with the speed I was going, and all the hills in Tenn, and KY. Trip was around 890 miles one way, took about 12 1/2 hours.

It handles the mountains way better than I thought it would as far as the trans shifting. I was expecting 4000 RPM on the steep ones, but it never went over 3500. Over all a really nice trip.

I found out the storage place in the access cab doors work perfect for a roll of paper towels, and a bottle of Windex. Windshield wipers are for rain...not so much bugs. Met lots of bugs!

Also found out my truck looks like a toy next to my dads.
