So I have searched and searched and cannot seem to find much info on this. I ordered the metra dash kit for my 2012 Tacoma non jbl that came with the wiring harness.

    https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Toyota-Taco...ed-29a6-4905-b930-3fd9c9aa4915&epid=691213565

It came with a wiring harness but no wiring diagram or even model number for the hardness. It definitely connects to the jack in the back of my radio but I cant seem to find what the orange and blue connect to on my head unit. I did read somewhere that if I connect the orange to orange white (illum) of the head unit it may damage the circuit so I'm a little afraid to go any further. There is also a blue wire on the harness but the connector in my truck doesnt seem to have pins for those wires. Just wondering if anyone has run into this and come up with a solution?

Another issue I'm having is I purchased the axxess steering wheel control with the AX-TOY28SWC wiring harness for it but I think it may be the wrong one as none of the connectors from my truck match this harness, any ideas of what might be the proper one? It does say it's for 2012 toyotas and up but again, nothing seems to match up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try calling them? They appear to have customer support at least on the ebay page, plus they appear to have email support. Would start there as they should provide at least a diagram.

You might get a lucky and get a really cool person at Crutchfield to take your call and help you. Or not. Not going to say you should've started with them, instead of ebay, but you definitely should consider them next time you buy anything audio related.
