SW Ohio - RTT Owners (seeking advice)

So... I have an impromptu road trip planned in 2 weeks up to the NE. It will be just my wife and I and will all be done in our Tacoma. I have built the truck with overlanding in mind and think I'm ready to make the jump to an RTT.

Am I crazy?

Let’s see some pictures of your build. I need a RTT on mine and I’ll be good to go. I’ll have to wait til next season though. Haven’t done much research and I need something to mount on my Diamondback.

For now it’s hammock camping or the tents they make for Tacoma beds on autoanything but I lose a lot of storage that way and requires a lot of shuffling.

You need to buy my truck bed tent! It's for sale in the marketplace... and the damn thing is brand new (never used). I'd make you a sweet deal to move this thing out of my storage unit.

 

I checked those out but I'd be moving a lot of gear around more than I'd like too. I recently bought a new hammock system by warbonnet outdoors on the tail end of one of their sales. Haven't received it yet though =[

I'm curious, how come reason for selling?
