4 wheel parts "we pay sales tax"

If anyone is interested 4wheelparts is doing a "we pay sales tax" statewide.

applies to even items on sale. Was able to get a cheap spare wheel 75$ shipping to my door : )

 

They have some cheap KM2s 285/75r16 on sale but I'm going with KM3's and discount tires priced matched them.

When I lived in Los Angeles my Redondo Beach 4WP store was pretty good. But since I moved to WA the closest store is 60 miles away in Lynwood: they rarely answer the phone; when they do they take down your info but never call you back. I went through this drill a half dozen times. I moved on.

There are plenty of online retailers that offer comparable prices, more user-friendly online shopping, free shipping and much better customer service.

 

Or have another retailer match their prices. Pretty much everyone will.

 

I've never dealt with 4wp but they only have 3 stores in houston vs 17 discount tires in the southwest quad.

 

thats why I online shop and ship to home.

But I agree 4WP can be doo-doo. But shop for items on sale, 75$ gets you free shipping, and they pay the sales tax. You not getting anything crazy cheap, but can save you a few bucks.

 

They sent me a used light and tried to pass it off as new

 

If they just fixed 2 things 4wp would be great IMO.

1. Real live stock inventory (Almost everything shows in stock, when it's really 30-60 days backorder).

2. Better customer service, especially when things go wrong. They don't throw you any bones when THEY mess up.

 

yeah they truly suck! i ordered an arb bumper from them which came all scratched up. I've been trying to to get touch up paint from them for 2 weeks ... every time i get to someone they say they will call me back and just don't... don't bother with this crappy company!

 

Contact arb customer service. My bumper came scratched up some from lovely ups. 4wp gave me a small gift card because of it, but I still had the scratches. Contacted arb and no questions asked they quickly shipped a paint pen that perfectly matched the powder coating for free.

 

ok cool thanks for the advice. it is frustrating how terrible 4wp customer service is. i have not gotten a response from them after trying to contact them in many different ways. their direct number seems to never have anyone there, their email contact gets no response, and my local store never calls me back. im just done with them as a company..

 

It’s baffling that a business like 4WP would be so indifferent about its customer service, and careless about its reputation in this day and age.

 

so true, i work in a fly fishing store and guide on the side. you're reputation is truly the only thing that creates repeat customers. i have never experienced anything like it from 4wp... certainly won't be looking at their website again. so many good companies who carry the same products that they have.

 

I’ve had a couple issues with 4wp but they were resolved quickly. When I ordered my bumper the hardware didn’t get shipped with it, but one email to them and they shipped it right out. Then my bumper was scratched up some as I mentioned earlier and they sent me a gift card quickly.

Arb’s customer service is top notch tho. Sent the paint pen super quick for the bumper. I bought an arb led work light and first time I plugged it in it wouldn’t charge without fiddling around with the cord and light. Contacted arb and they sent me a new one no questions asked. Didn’t even have to send the bad one back and it’s about a $70 light if I remember correctly.

I’ve found good customer service is hard to find now days, but I’ll gladly pay a bit more to a company that has excellent service.

 

I wish I could have had the same experience.. I've contacted ARB USA and waiting for a response. would be nice to get some credit for the damaged bumper. thanks for the tip!
what email did you use for 4wp btw? I don't see any on their website, just a contact form that ive already filled out a few times.

I bought an

$1,382 ARB 3423020 Winch Compatible Bull Bar

ARB 3423020 bull bar from 4WP at their cost back in February. I paid for the bumper in cash and they covered the sales tax as promised. It was shipped to my residence via semi-truck on a pallet. Bumper arrived in perfect condition with the hardware and had my body shop install it for me to replace the OEM front bumper that was damaged in an accident. No issues with them on that transaction.

About 2 weeks ago, I get a flyer in the mail from 4WP advertising suspension month plus it was sales tax covered. I was trying to order a complete OME suspension kit from them. I would have bought the complete OME suspension kit, but couldn't get them to budge on ordering the 883 front coils and other hardware needed for the install. I ended up going with Headstrong Offroad for my OME suspension kit, found the options that I wanted for my suspension kit, got free shipping, and paid for the suspension kit and taxes. I would give 4WP my business if there's something that I can buy from them for a fair price on the sales tax covered sale or specials they have on sale.
