So Sick! Just curious is there an option to have the DRL to be amber instead of white? Defiantly putting on my Christmas list

Nice. You making your own boards or having them out sourced?
Never was a fan of the phosphorus coating. It does the job for light diffusion, but looks cheesy to me. Good job

We have a company that makes them for us. I personally like it but I would say a custom diffuser on top of a board would be the best

We have tested them to stay on amber and they can work but we urge customers to not run it on amber all the time since constant “on” longevity testing testing was done more on the white.

So that’s what it’s called “phosphorus coating”

I hate the lens cover/diffuser on our drl strip and wish it was more evenly diffused but not sure how to make that happen on the stock strip

Right on! Really nice shape to them, but ya a diffuser on top would be ideal. Maybe V2 lol

See, I love the lens cover on the OEM DRL strip. Yes, it's not as diffused as a gel coating...but you gain INTENSITY(which IMO is what a DRL is all about). Plus, from 5+ ft back the hot spots blend in anyway. If you look at all OEM manufacturers, they use proper optics followed by a diffuser.

Is there any way I could make a gel coating for the stock drl? That would replace the clear lens cover over the strip now.

Sure, but it Wouldn’t be a “smooth” as the ones you see. Mainly because the stock DRL board LEDS are spaced so far apart. In order to have a smooth light. The LEDs need to be very close, then the gel applied over the top(like kustoms, diode dynamics, Morimoto, etc) there are pros and cons to each style.

Looks good, but out of my price range.

Is there any info on output and beam pattern compared to stock etc.? I am good with off-road lighting knowledge but I have no idea when it comes to headlights.

Do you have any close up pictures showing the “insides” of the headlights. Are they just completely blacked out with this new led board on top of them?

Definitely looks cool, and is something different.

Is this price including a new set of headlights too or just a retrofit with a supplied headlight?

I'd love to do retros but I'd probably hit a deer 10 minutes after install
