Hey guys, in the process of doing my front door speakers (rear next). I've read what seems to be every post on changing them and deadening but when I pulled the panel I was surprised to see these foam guys in the holes. Everything I've seen people have filled them with a more rigid material. What should I do? Scrap them or just mat everything up good??

I left them in and used deadening as well. I don't think it helps much since the deadening is to reduce the noise on the sheet metal. Whatever, it sounds really good and quiet as a Caddy now.

Some people will cut out abs plastic panels and put them over those holes. Its not really needed unless your going really high end sound quality system.
