American Horror Story - 1984 Official Thread and BS

I didn't see another thread for this show, apologies if there is one and I missed it....

My wife and I binge watched all the original seasons of AHS. Most of them were pretty darn creative and very original. So when this new season was announced, we naturally had to watch.

My initial thoughts so far after only the 2nd episode this week.

* While they obviously based this on the Friday the 13th movie series, with a little Halloween and probably other 80's horror movies thrown in, I actually think they have so far done a very, very good job of keeping solidly in the genre of mid 80's slasher movies, but not quite being as hokey as they all were.
* A little "empty" to have only 4 of the actors in this new season from the previous seasons, as they almost always had the entire group of core actors in every season, just playing vastly different characters each season.

Just thought I'd get the ball rolling on this TV show. And start my first "Official" thread
