Hey y’all was wondering what the smallest lift I could install for 35/12.50/18. If y’all could share what y’all got that’d be awesome! Thanks!

You can fit with a 2-3 inch lift. But you will need a CMC chop, fender trimming, pinch weld hammered down, etc.

35s are tough and depending on your wheel set up different amounts of trimming clearancing will be needed.

Regardless of if you try and fit them with a 3” lift, or do a 6” drop bracket lift, you’ll have some cutting to do.

    Are you 2wd or 4wd?

The lift doesn't change the size of the wheel well opening, which is the limiting factor for tire size.

I’m 4wd. I’m trying to prevent having to cut. Any recommendations?

As was said, 35's will require some cutting or trimming regardless of the lift. Only other option is a smaller tire.

2 options... start chopping or smaller tire.

My bad, I should have been more specific. What I should have said is what size wheel and tire do y’all recommend with out having to cut?

I mean if you want to split hairs, a drop bracket lift or a spindle lift would in fact help clear larger tires. Drop bracket lowers the bump stops and spindle lift lowers where the wheel mounts, so at bump, the wheel is lower. :anonymous:

But yes, for most peoples needs, lift doesn't help clear larger tires except at ride height in a straight line on a smooth surface.
