After 27k miles Im finally gonna get into the mod world again, I used to mod jeeps, so I'm newish to trucks. I recently bought a complete set of Bilstein 5100. I'm currently on BFG KO2 265x75x16 and love them. The plan is to run the 5100s with either OEM 885 or 887 and either a leaf pack or a AAL to get a lift of no more than 2 inches, settled. I plan on adding an hard topper and a low profile steel front bumper, but not going crazy with the weight being its my DD. With the aforementioned upgrades, I'm looking for recommendations on parts to mitigate sag from the bumper and topper, to be able to maintain that 2 inch lift without breaking the bank.

    Thanks!

Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.
I'm happy with the Headstrong progressive AAL. I doubt my Leer 100r causes any sag whatsoever.

You can keep or leave the overload spring. I got a solid 2" lift with it.

Is a great option for <$200 imo but everyone's version of "break the bank" is different.

    Welcome to the forum.

I don’t have a bumper but I can help with the rear. I have the older Dakar leaf pack(before they went to a med and heavy) and I removed one overload leaf before install. I sit at right about 2” higher in the rear with my shell on. Ride is a little stiffer but more composed to me. With the shell off and an empty bed things start to get a little harsh but lowering my tire psi helps solve some of that. I have C rated tires so I’m guessing with your E rated you’ll want to do the same. Sounds like you would be a good candidate for the medium duty pack and if you find it too soft just buy the additional leaf to beef it up.
