Driving my truck while I find a new car or fix the VW. I want to lower it back to normal height. Has a 3 or 4-inch body lift on it. Will I have to replace the springs when it lowered.
Also, went over a bump on the interstate and felt like the front wheels left the ground. Is that just a shock issue. And do the rear spings look normal being so flat. Is that due to the lift.

You should be able to just remove the body lift. No you don’t need new springs. I think most of them ride flat? Mine do.

Yeah, ditch the body lift and replace he shocks.

Not sure what else you are planning, but all new bushings, ball joints and tie rods will make the truck drive like new.

Yeah we need some more info on the suspension but body lift removal will help a bunch, a bit of work but not huge. And the flat springs isnt ideal, but it's super common with our tacomas and nothing to frett about.
