    This is about it...
Insert comes out for easy painting.
The more layers of clearcoat the better.
10 amp fuse tap in the main box makes wiring easy.

Does the insert not come out of the stock grille as well?

No. Wish you could just swap the inserts and not have to paint.

Ordered and got mine in. I had it painted at a body shop, looks real good I think. I’m probably going to add the Toyota trucks emblem to the center of it.

I am looking for some wiring help though. I would like to hook them up with the DRL’s, the one I have marked in the pictures. I believe I can just splice into one of the wires on this harness and then ground the other wire and they will be on all the time? Any help would be appreciated.

I just installed this grill, and mine did have the EAG emblem. Just had to remove the screws to take it off.

My only issue is that the screws for the mounting brackets weren't included with the package. Luckily I had some screws lying around the garage that did the job.

Did you just swap the grille or did you get the surrounding part painted?

I painted both the surround and insert separately.

What paint did you use for the grill? I used duplicolor on mine and it looked great until I decided to apply clear coat. Then it yellowed so bad!

I used the same paint. Remember, the Super White trucks are NOT clear coated, so if you used a heavy coat of clear, that's probably why it looks yellowed. I used a very thin coat, and the color looks fine.

can we get more pics of these with the grill LED’s on? I wanna really see how they look on a taco.

The fitment on mine was good, I didn't have any issues when installing.

I just got my eag with mesh grill in the mail. I need to test fit before it gets painted and also got the big TOYOTA letters that will go on. Letters will also be color matched barcelona red
