They worked before doing this mod? I thought I read somewhere these trucks are/can be finicky and can mess with the electronics of the vehicle when replacing with LEDs. I would return the fronts to stock first and figure out the rears. Once that is working correctly install the front LEDs and see if you have hyper flashing. From there add the appropriate resistors to fix the flashing in front.

For me, to fix the hyper flash, I used 10 Ohm resistors. I am currently running standard bulbs in front and Sylvania ZEVO in the rears. When I installed ZEVO bulbs in the front, the hyper flash returned. So I need to figure out which size resistors I need, going to give 6 Ohms a try.

IIRC too much resistance can cause a single blink then nothing.

By all means follow @tacoWithstickyrice advice.

I would return to stock front and back. Test .. passed
Re-add TAT as per instructions without resistors. Test ...
Hyper flash - Add resistors, test, adjust till it passes
One and off/no signal - TAT may be bad call support
Pass - do fronts - test
    Pass- have a cold one
    Hyper flash - add resistance
    Cancel - remove resistance
    Cycle till it passes

So I moved the resistor before the module & it solved the canceling out when I signal. Now the problem is it hyper flashes when I press the brakes lol.

You got the ground side right but it looks like you are still on the output side of the TaT

I used this diagram one of our members did near the beginning of this thread. Sorry I suck at explaining things. You want the resistor tapped to the ground and the turn signal input. Hopefully this diagram helps.

So I followed the diagram & was successful up until the brakes are applied or when the lights are on. The lights still hyperflash. Maybe I need a stronger resistor?

How’d you wire them? Can you take pics? I’ve tried almost everything and the hyper flash won’t go away.

What is the value on your resistor? I used 10 ohms for mine and so far so good. Seems like the sweet spot is 10-15 ohms

    I have the 50w 6ohm ones. I’ll order some 10ohm ones & give it a shot.

Somewhere in the middle to the end of this thread, a members gives a pretty good reason as to why the truck needs somewhere between 10-15 ohms. Either that or I'm completely off base but I know for my particular mod, I just used 10 ohms and had no issues.

Not an estimate of life expectancy. First hand experience on failure of product and VLED fast response in customer service.

I have had VLED V6 as either my turn or parking light for almost two years now. One of them had the stage 1 brightness go out late in the first year (parking wouldn’t light up, but turn would).
They asked me to clip the wires, take a picture and sent me out a new pair immediately upon receiving the image.
This pair has run for over a year with no issues and have been relocated to be my front turn signals as they are the amber color.

Meso’s tail kit has replaced my own as I am was planning to cannibalize one of my harnesses for my topper brake/parking light.
The lights he provides in stage 1 are superb. Best t10 switchback I have seen (and I have ordered and tested several this last year).

Just a little trivia and something I eventually found out in the endless threads of TW. Toyota actually molds the part numbers of the connector on the connector themselves. They are the last 5 digits and from my understanding the first set of numbers are almost always 90980-XXXXX, where the X is the molded number. So for example on the tail lamp, the brake's female connector would be 90980-11016, you would find 11016 molded/printed somewhere on the connector. From there I started searching part numbers to see if there was a male mate to the female; for example I would google "90980-11016 male connector" or something similar. Just something interesting that I found out thanks to TW. I believe there is also a pdf floating around that contains wiring repair info or something like that that usually lists the male/female combos that Toyota have, I do not have that although I have been searching for it.

I get most of my connectors from Corsa Technic, Aliexpress and Toyota. Hopefully this isn't stepping on anyone's toes who do sell pnp harnesses and what not. HTH?
