The booster applies to the alt-s circuit. However, the 3rd gen (including 2016) removed the alt-s fuse, as it is all managed by the ECU. Information provided by the manufacture that it works for 2016 is incorrect. In theory one could use an add-a-fuse to the wire feeding the ECU that data, but to my knowledge nobody has done this yet.

Another option is to get a charger/maintainer and plug it in once a month or so. I used this one when I had a Group31 AGM in my '16. I added a dedicated charging port in the front so I didn't have to pop the hood to charge it.

So even now, almost 2020, and there isn't a kit / widely applicable solution for 3rd gens?

That is slick. How long would you need to have it plugged in?

I'm not sure this would work (depending on time needed to charge) as I have street parking only, in a highly congested area. Even if I did have an outlet to use, there's way too many sketchy people around to not have it f*cked with or stolen.

I don't know how long it took, maybe a few hours. I would leave it overnight so that it had time to desulfate the battery also. I wrote CHARGER with sharpie on a piece of cardboard that I would put on the driver seat so I wouldn't forget and drive away with it plugged in.

The Yukon has become my favorite area so far. Small towns, awesome people, lots of open road, great scenery, was just an awesome area where ever we went

Does anyone know if you can walk/scramble from NF 5510 up to the Hanson Creek bridge on the Iron Horse trail? I'm supporting some runners on a 50K tomorrow, and if I can get to the trail from there, I could stay away from the congestion down at Garcia where the FS road crosses the trail.

I believe if you go past the bridge on the left and park at 5510. You can walk a miners trail to your destination. Im not 100% positive though. Either that or take the climbers trail up at the gauging station and over.

I wonder if I could set up a couple relays to run this through my inverter to alternately condition my house battery and my main battery...

Yes it is! The first pic is the "Top of the World Highway" between Alaska and the Yukon. The second is the highway to the Arctic Circle...700 miles of nothingness

I've thought about trying that with an isolated house battery in the bed and using the the plug back there to charge and condition it while driving. That's as far as I've gotten on that project.

Leaving for Utah in the morning and just read you can’t get beer at a bar or grocery store over 4%? That’s nonsense! Looks like I’ll have to hit up the liquor stores
