New to me 2019 Tacoma, Was it repossessed?

    I got this truck on the used lot at Toyota and the carfax showed one owner. 2019 w/ 12K and marked at a real reasonable price so I jumped on it. Pretty excited to get into some of the more simple mods.
    Here are some questions I have. Just curiosity really since I live the truck.
    It is missing that little cap in front of the gear shift. Does this mean it was likely towed without owner's consent since its so new? Also, there was still a chain and lock on the spare I had to cut off. I think it was a repo, not that it matters but for some reason the salesman kept insisting it wasn't.

    Second questions is how to a get a replacement for that little cap? I don't even know what its called officially.

    Any ideas?

    A repossession should show up on the Carfax, doesn't effect the title though.
