    My shifter knob also turns the shaft is that normal for are trucks the truck shifts great?

    The rubber vibration "dampener" must be sheared off. Happened to me this year. I took the console off, then pulled on the stick and it came right off. I used epoxy glue and put it back to its place. Never moved again lol
