    Yes. The “x” in Tacoma X-Runner refers to this part. It’s meant to keep the rear end planted and stop twisting under acceleration. Laughable maybe, but that’s the idea.

    Laughable indeed. The rear end will always be planted with a Tacoma's weight distribution. Combine the under steer with the jerky power band and cornering in our trucks will always be 'interesting'. I guess I don't understand trying to improve the cornering ability since no matter what you did any semi talented driver in a stock Corolla would drive right around the outside of you.

    Yakima roof and bed rack and tubular rear bumper.
    Spoken like a true off-road auto-transmission owner. I drove 3 O-Rs and they felt like a wet sponge in corners. I stuff corollas in the ditch in corners with my M/T Sport.
