Smittybuilt XRC8 Winch. Thoughts?

I think I am going to go with this winch for my all pro tube bumper. Just have to take some measurements. After reading lots of reviews, most people will say that it is a little slow. I'm not to concerned with that and maybe only plan to use it 5-6 times per year.
Does anyone have one currently? Gonna order it by this weekend. The price looks really good. I wonder who actually makes this winch. I heard it was mile marker.
Thoughts/opinions please.

after everything is said and done, you could have a milemarker for like another $150.

 

Several reviews that I have read said its made with all mile marker components. Why would I want to spend more money on the same winch?

It is a private label winch built in China by Milemarker for Transamerican Auto (parent company of Smittybilt, 4Wheel Parts, Explorer ProComp and 4wd Hardware)

 

So. No one has one of these?
It's 7.2 tall and i only have 7.0 i think it may be that junction box(solenoid).
is this something that can be moved or trimmed?
