2017 w/JBL - Upgrade to Carplay

Hey guys,

First-time taco owner here. Just picked up a 2017 TRD Sport in Inferno (LOVE IT) with the tech package which came with the JBL system. I'm completely satisfied with how the JBL system sounds, it's pretty nice, I'm just pretty annoyed with the Entune system. I'd like to upgrade to a head unit that offers Carplay. Has anyone with a 3rd Gen w/JBL just upgrade their head unit to one that offers Carplay? If so, I'm interested in what head unit you picked and if you were able to retain all features and any gotchas that you ran into.
