I forgot to order one piece and placed an order to finish it all up. Will have the final piece and take pics when both are mounted and all finished up. It was pretty easy. Hardest part was getting the glove box out. There is one hidden screw but after getting that it was easy. I wanted to have access to the usb plugs in case I needed to charge something else. That’s why I mounted it in the glove box. I soldered the wires to the factory 12v power outlet on the dash for a clean install.

Thanks for the idea! I was able to install without removing the glove box. I did remove the radio and that allowed me enough access to drill the hole and route the cables. A few things I would have done different and some trim left to do, thank goodness the ugly is in the glove box.

Here is the usb dual port, several different options on Amazon. I opted to leave the cover off.

Here is the cables, the 90 degree usb plug saved some space in the glove box.

We are looking at September 7th but we might not have all our new products out yet, that might take an additional week or so, DMM will be there from the start though.

Does anyone know of a good wireless charging cradle that works with the DMM?

    Just ordered!
Anyone have a link to a smooth, clean install for a lightning cable from behind the dash?
I saw a few examples going through these 21 pages but nothing that seemed incredibly detailed...
I'm by no means an electrician but can follow directions. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks @Ascotta05 but I'd rather just run it out from the DMM. Not wanting to cut up my glove box.
Any photos of where you actually made the connection behind the dash?
I don't see that in the photos on post #404

I didn't make the connection behind the dash. I ran a 6ft cable down beside the HU and under the center console and back to the power outlet in the console box, and tied in there, didn't touch the glove box. I didn't take any pics tho.

Any confirm the letters fit an OEM grille? Thinking the black letters would be a good addition

They do not, these are made specifically for OUR version of the pro grille, they do not fit any other versions (that I know of...)
