Use caution and tape up those the old and new headlight lenses before attempting to remove/install. Nothing worse than spending over $1k on a new set of headlights and scratching them up.

Agreed. I’m a big fan of blue painters tape. I used it during my install.

Checking in from Massachusetts with the endgame of chrome removal and one of the best mods I’ve ever done to my rig since day one...amazing level of quality to these lights with perfect fitment and straight forward install. So happy with the end result...412CD7E6-422A-412C-A532-F527E1357C35.jpg15581701-EEE2-4330-ABE6-AB9982047F0B.jpg 957B9013-39F8-40D3-841D-82A11C7F5484.jpg838A2E83-C1A5-4CD9-A56D-BD35B7A53775.jpg 03ED67B0-C226-4835-B97B-213A9AD39B17.jpg6F6AEE7A-953F-4D7E-ACAB-888B8BAD3177.jpg 4A6762A9-7A2F-4D89-9200-CBD8D56168FF.jpgDD7DA8F8-FAA4-44EC-B4E1-F16F8E82EC8A.jpg

Just got them aimed. Looking good. Little bit of a tip though, if you don’t have a ratcheting 8mm box end wrench, it’s damn near impossible to reach this adjustment point(blue) on the passenger side. Simple solution, remove the two 10mm screws (yellow) holding the wiper fluid reservoir in place and push it back slightly. Was able to get in there with an 8mm socket wrench no problem and adjust the angle.

Had to do the same thing with the reservoir. My lights needed to be adjusted up a good bit.

With all due respect..They are already covered in protective blue film prior to installation..What's the protective tape for?

Installed headlights tonight, adjusting throw tmw. Several knobs on the back and not sure what to adjust, guidance appreciated.

The blue tape is for people like me (because I was too excited) that prematurely take off the blue protective film prior to installation.

So I had another member message me about aiming the lights after install asking for some general info. Figured I’d share it here as well. I’m no expert at aiming lights, but think I covered the gist below. Anyone, especially you lighting pros, please feel free to add more or correct me if I’m wrong.

Andrew gave a temporary download link for the instructions since the file size is so big.

    https://wetransfer.com/downloads/9f...f056b5fb5064d048117392c820190926163953/2cae6b

If you go to the last page it gives a very general idea on how to aim them. Basically need to go find a wall, park your truck 25 feet from it, so have some measuring tape long enough. I’d bring some chalk or a sharpie so you can make some marks. Mark the centerline of your truck on the wall. The adjustments for the low beams(both projectors in a single housing) are the two closest to the fender, and the high beam adjustments are closest to the grille. Each has a sticker calling out whether it’s a vertical adjustment or horizontal. You’ll need an 8mm socket or box end wrench for the adjustments(can use a Phillips head but it’s an PIA getting your hand in there). I just started cranking until I saw the light move on the wall, then marked the center of each beam so I could take measurements, and then adjust accordingly to match what TRS has called out in the instructions. I have the height of the low beams 42” above the ground to match the height of my projectors, and the horizontal around 5ish feet. To me, they looked pointed in a little too much, so I did aim them out a bit further. I’m sure others will chime in as well in the thread about aiming.

I installed the first one with the film intact. It was bulky and hard to pull off after getting the fitment exactly as I wanted. I cut the excess off the second one and used the painters tape around the edges.

    I’m just a perfectionist.

Anyone having issues with high beams? Mine aren't turning on and my fuses all test good.

I also keep blowing my driver low beam fuse. It happens even with low beam unplugged so I know it's not the light. I just don't know where or why it keeps happening. How do I trace that problem?

Seems no one directly answered your question so ill chime in
    1. Absolutely.. very bright and those sequential turns are sweet.. i find myself hitting the lock/unlock button just to see them in action again
    2. Id say 9/10 there are some different gaps on mine from one side to the next but nothing that your neighbor will notice.. a few minor imperfections inside the headlights also nothing your neighbor will notice
    3. Defintely the fender flares.. those damn clips break too easy .. i need to replace one of the blues ones on the driver side now ... just a tip i used the box to set the headlight on to make all my connections before placing the headlight into its spot

If another 20% group buy discount is offered to TW members I may pull the trigger. I like the OEM look, light smoke lens, sequential turn signals and the strong 5-year warranty.

Okay, my other half thought I was nuts looking at the front end with the blinkers on.. She asked if I was going to pimp out the back/tail lights. Anything for the rear compatible and available?
