3rd gen tacoma rims and tires

Hey Fellas, im looking to upgrade my 2017 Tacoma with some new Shoes !!!!! any suggestions on size of rims and tire thickness? I want to go with the biggest size I can without rubbing on my skid plate when I turn. In saying that I also want the tires to stick out a bit without having to put on any spacers. Im looking into some bronze coloured off road rims and wanted to get your guys opinion on size? 15", 16" or maybe even 17" ? also what about the depth? all your opinions matter, thanks

 

15s won’t clear so its 16s or 17s. Skinny tires (255) are getting more popular and seem to clear better. There’s a whole thread about it somewhere around here you can read up on.

It seems to me more sizes are popping up for 17s. 16s your kinda stuck with the same old couple sizes and limited options in load ranges. Just keep an eye on the weight of the wheels and tires. Unsprung weight robs power and diminishes braking.
