Ummm ok, not sure what point that was. :notsure:

Offended because I said weirdo? It was a slight ribbing for not taking it in when you made it sound like the TSB made you excited to now have a reason to get it checked out.

    Btw- gender is listed pumpkin.

Check out my post here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/weather-stripping-thing-came-loose.591801/#post-21608445

It looks like everything is going to be a gigantic battle with my local dealer until I get around to finding a better one. The annoyance has to be worth it, and being night shift the rest of the year, it's just not yet.

    But also, link to tsb?

Edit, crosswind also makes sense since it's not all the time, and it's not a big enough deal to try replicating.

Not scientific. the engine has a different noise, These were both done at 50 mph on the same stretch of road in the same location on each truck, same AC setting. Both hover in the 69-70 db range. So no the 3rd gen isnt louder.

The 4.0 sounds more buzzy from my experience ( 05 Tundra Reg. Cab 4.0)

The 3.5 has a lower drone type noise IMO (3.5 6MT Access Cab)
