Palm Springs Ca 2wd offroad recommendations?

    Can anyone recommend any spots near Palm Springs, CA to go fool around for the day in 2 wheel drive dirt??

    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
    Berdoo Canyon and Old Dale Road.

    If anyone says you can’t do it with a 2WD, ah shoot, I did it in a Vista Cruiser.

    OK, but my friend’s dad sold it when we got back! Just go as far as you feel comfortable with it and bring a shovel and extra water. A compressor to air down in soft sections and a tow strap too.

    Also check out Painted Canyon north of Mecca, it’s beautiful!
