When I brake, there is a metallic, hissing sound after the truck stops and sometimes again when I accelerate. Just had new tires put on. I thought it could be my brakes rubbing. I replaced my front brake pads, but I still hear that sound. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hard to say without video or sound. We could take guesses but not sure if that will get you anywhere.

The clearence at the caliper is pretty tight. Did the tire shop toss some weights on in the wrong spot?

Do your new pads have a pad wear clip? Is it bent?

I had four new tires put on Friday morning. Really noticed the sound Saturday night coming back from hunting. I had to slam on the brakes because a buck ran out in front of me. It is not a loud sound. More of like a hissing when I come to a stop and then again when I accelerate after stop. I can't tell if it is front, rear, or both.

Pull the wheels and get eyes on it. Look for any witness marks.
